An interview with Sonnie Badu revealed that the album was extensively worked on after the concert in Maryland which caused the delay of its release.
UK based Ghanaian gospel singer, Sonnie Badu is all set to release his fifth album, ‘Soundz of Africa’ on the 23rd of August this year.
Mr. Badu has however promised fans that their wait shall not be in vain as the new music they will soon be hearing from camp Sonnie Badu is of glorious quality.

“It has been an awesome journey. The album has to do with my experience and everything I have learnt. I am very proud of myself and I am happy that we have been able to achieve this,” he reiterated.
The album is said to have been recorded live at the New Psalmist Baptist Church in Maryland. It features American gospel stars such as Jonathan Nelson and Darwin Hobbs as well as Sonnie’s wife, Annie Badu.
