The rain is here but for people who ply the Sango-Abeokuta expressway; this is not the best of times. This is because the road has gradually grown from being a road with pockets of potholes to one that spells doom especially for unsuspecting drivers. The road has degenerated badly that it is almost difficult to use it as an expressway as vehicles are now forced to a crawl because of the state of the road. During the rainy season, the potholes get filled with water thereby making it more difficult for drivers.The deplorable road has also made the route prone to serious traffic and commuters are sometimes forced to spend longer hours on a road that is supposed to make transportation faster.
