President Mahama has ordered for the dismissal of the high court judge, Justice Ivy Heward-Mills after she was implicated in the judicial bribery scandal in 2015.

  In a  statement signed by the first deputy judicial secretary, Justice Juliana Amonoo-Neizer,  a committee set up by the chief justice, Georgina Theodora Wood to investigate the allegation concluded its investigation which showed the judge was guilty of bribery charges.
“She has therefore been asked to “hand over her bungalow and all official properties in her possession including her official government vehicle, dockets and record books to the Judicial secretary,” excerpts of the court order stated.
Over 20 judges have been sacked in connection with the corruption scandal which was revealed in an expose by investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas in 2015.
