President Muhammadu Buhari has received the former president Olusegun Obasanjo in Aso Rock villa on June 3, Friday.
.Chris Giwa and his entourages were armed with the ‘writ of execution’ from the Federal High Court in Jos while entering the glass house in Abuja. In an exclusive chat with NAIJ.com Sports, Giwa said he is the truly elected NFF president, stressing that he has resumed his position. “I have always been saying that we are law abiding citizens and shall be guided by the dictates of the law. “The last time we were at the NFF office, we were told we had no such orders we are brandishing which is why the defendants and their privies refused to obey the order. “We returned to the court to register the fact that the orders of the court has refused to be obeyed and we got the writ of execution,” Chris Giwa said. Meanwhile, the NFF media department under Amaju Pinnick had earlier reported that Chris Giwa stormed the glass house with thugs and forced themselves in by breaking the entrance door, but Giwa has however rubbished the report. “The accusation was a well cooked one full of lies, and I don’t blame them, but everything will be corrected now that I have resumed as the NFF president,” Giwa added. The imbroglio rocking the Nigeria football has now become a tiresome issue, and most followers of the Nigeria football are now scared of being banned by FIFA. Giwa claimed the NFF under Amaju Pinnick have been served with ‘writ of execution’ from court.
